A Wedding Like No Other
|
|
A dear friend from high school got married last night. The wedding was somewhat different from any other that I've been to before. The theme was "An enchanted wedding"...very fairy tale-like, very princess-y Cinderella, my-knight-in-shining-armour kinda thing...I love the wedding dress.
Sheemi being Sheemi..same 'ol same 'ol mcm masa sekolah...I knew there'll be some singing involved and the hubby is as wacky as she is..he danced along as she sang their song...the whole family performed a tune for the bride & groom (fyi, the family CAN sing...even the 11 year old brother..cute gile nyanyi lagu N'Sync together with the older brothers). They were having so much fun..pernah tgk pengantin menari on the pelamin? Only at Sheemi's wedding.
To Sheemi & Hafidz...Congratulations dear...May both of you live happily ever after..

Our stuff from Manchester arrived today..and boy oh boy...baru sedar byk nye brg kitaorg!!
As for me, I'm so happy sebab little hero's stuff semua dah selamat sampai...now I can start nesting!!
Oh I can't believe it's just 7 weeks away!! Baby oh baby...please be punctual.

She's One!

How time flies! She's one year old already!
IeraTain & family organized a family birthday party for their lil princess in Desa Haras. The food was yummy and we had a great time. Thanks Iera for the goodie bag!
Masa baru sampai we heard that the birthday girl was asleep and I thought of a FRIENDS episode yg masa Emma's birthday party she was napping and Rachel tak kasi bangunkan dia..so everybody had to wait for her to bangun and they started to get cranky! Nasib baik that only happens dlm TV. (Yes people, I'm a FRIENDS freak!)
Sarah was a bit cranky mula2...maybe she was confused thinking kenapa ramai sgt org ni?But after a while dia ok dah...and started to enjoy her party..suka betul dia with baloons!!
And that's me at 7 months! Huhu...10 weeks to go!! Third trimester sangat la mencabar..I miss my 2nd trimester (or should I call it my honeymoon trimester?).

Coming home
|

Lama dah tak update fp. Since August rupanya..dah bersawang fp ni. If you’re asking about pictures, truthfully I have none. Since the pregnancy, I have not taken any. Ada la kot satu dua je...Athough my first trimester wasn’t that bad, I wasn't sick or anything...just homesick, I still didn’t have the mood to update my album. Hence, the sawang here.
Now at 21 weeks, I just can’t wait to go home. In less than 3 weeks, we’ll be going home. Yes, home. Where the heart is. I miss home. I miss my family. I miss my life back home. I can’t believe I have spent half way of my pregnancy here without the whole family. Just me & Gee. He’s been wonderful. Alhamdulillah he is very much in this pregnancy, as much as I am. I’m not totally alone. Now that the baby is big enough for us to feel the movements, I just love the way the baby is responding to us. Oh btw, we don’t know the gender yet. Somehow the baby kinda ‘menyorok’ during the last ultrasound.
If you ask me now, will I miss Manchester, I’d say no. For now lah, coz right now I’m missing KL. Maybe I’ll say yes when we’re home. But still, now I find that the pepatah Melayu make sense. The one with the hujan batu hujan emas tu. The grass might greener here for some people, but for me, the grass back home is green enough. Don’t get me wrong, I had a great time here. One of the best memories so far.
Hope it's not too late to wish everyone Happy 2008. May we have a productive year ahead.
